TO ALL AREA CHAIRPERSONS AND CAD GROUPS ABOUT “SAAMSTAAN”
“SAAMSTAAN” IS GOING TO BE REVIVED
Communication between members, ex-members and friends of the CAD is of the utmost importance if we want to enthuse the whole of the CAD wit our great vision:
Let us keep South Africa sober.
We not only want to make sure that every person who has received treatment recently is included in our circle of friends, but also want to better informed about dependence and how we are playing a greater role in preventing it and insuring that the newly acquired sobriety is maintained.
Part of this project is to get the News Letter, SAAMSTAAN (Eng: UNITE) revived and distributed again, in a new cover and in an easy to read, format To unite us in our projects, to encourage each other and to ensure that every possible interested person who would like to support us, is able to do so as well as a well informed person, we should have an effective News Letter.
You can help us to revive “SAAMSTAAN” by:
- sending us news areas about your area, your groups and the experiences and testimonies of your members. - sending us human stories, about people in whose lives we have made a really big difference.
- photos, sketches or any articlet that can excite the interest of people in our enormous endeavour.
- forwarding your ideas and suggestions.
“SAAMSTAAN” has to play a major role so that we and our new friends can unite to ensure we can make an even bigger difference in what we have to do.
Please support us so that we can make “SAAMSTAAN” a reality again. What we need specifically is a list of the names of members, ex-members, friends and families, communities and all the others we have already asked for, because they are the people who should get this News Letter and who will make its continued existence possible. Without this information we will not be able to justify the distribution of the News Letter “SAAMSTAAN”.
We look forward to receiving your news items and ideas and the details of people who should be receiving the new “SAAMSTAAN”.
Please forward this letter to all the CAD groups in your area.
“Greetings from SAAMSTAAN.
